Manchester City outcast Samir Nasri mobbed by Antalyaspor fans as he makes latest big money move
Ex-Arsenal man is joining the big-money Turkish side currently captained by Samuel Eto'o
MANCHESTER CITY reject Samir Nasri was mobbed by Antalyaspor after arriving in Turkey for his move to the Turkish club.
The former Arsenal man was binned by Pep Guardiola as soon as the Spanish boss arrived at the Etiad, banished to train away from the first team due to being overweight.
The 30-year-old is expected to join the club on a two-year-contract after passing his medical on Sunday.
The playmaker won two league titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups during his time at the Etihad where he was, for his first three seasons, a favourite.
But he was shoved out on loan to Sevilla as soon Guardiola arrived last summer and had now chance of returning.
Antalyaspor have money to burn with former Chelsea and Barcelona man Samuel Eto’o captaining the club.
Nasri can reunite with former Gunners team-mate Johan Djourou at the Antalya Stadyumu.
And the former France midfielder will be expected to raise spirits as well as league position after they lost their opening match last Sunday.

The midfielder is going to coin it in with wages of around £3.6million per year.
And that will nicely top up the £170,000-a-week he was pocketing at City across five seasons.
In Spain last season, Nasri only scored three and assisted as many in 31 appearances for Eduardo Berizzo’s side.
Antalyaspor narrowly missed out on Europa League qualification last term after finishing fifth in Super Lig.
