No Mil for Wil

Arsenal offer Jack Wilshere to AC Milan but they are not interested as he is too injury prone

AC Milan are not likely to be Wilshere's escape route from Arsenal who are trying to sell their midfielder before his contract runs out

AC MILAN have passed up on Jack Wilshere, because he is too injury prone.

The Rossoneri have concerns about the 25-year-old's ability to stay healthy, after suffering two leg fractures in the past two seasons.

Arsenal are keen to sell youth product Wilshere before his contract expires next June and have offered his services to AC Milan, as reported by Corriere dello Sport.

The English international's agent has been in talks with the San Siro side and discussed his ability to be a leader on the pitch.

Milan are on the lookout for a midfielder to join their ranks after the imminent arrival of striker Nikola Kalinic from Florientina.

But despite Milan's interest, that dates back to a linked move last summer, it seems they can't look past his tendency to get injured.

During an up-and-down loan spell at Bournemouth last term, Wilshere's season was once again cut short after suffering a hair line fracture against Tottenham in April.

The season before, he broke his fibula in pre-season and wasn't able to make it back out on the pitch until 10 months later.

Though he has recovered from his latest set back and already returned to action with the Under-23s, he is way down on the pecking order at Arsenal.

Interest has come in elsewhere though for the injury-prone Wilshere including Championship side Aston Villa, and his boyhood club West Ham.

Milan's Serie A rivals Sampdoria and Juventus have also reportedly been in the running to sign the out of favour Arsenal midfielder.
