Arsenal legend Martin Keown blasts lazy Mesut Ozil after the shock 1-0 defeat at Stoke

ARSENAL legend Martin Keown has blasted Mesut Ozil for a second time following the shock 1-0 defeat at Stoke last weekend.
The former Gunners defender took aim at the German playmaker saying he needed to close down with a lot more energy.
Keown claimed Ozil's fellow forwards Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette ably assisted him in attack... and he needs to repay the favour when defending.
On his performance, Keown said: “One of the main problems for Arsenal at Stoke last week was that Mesut Ozil did not want to close down with the other forwards.
“It is very easy for Ozil to just try to be creative. If you are never pressing, you do not have to re-balance yourself when you get in possession.
“Sanchez does both sides of the game very well. Arsenal need that in their team - and Sanchez will be urging Ozil to press with him.
“Alexandre Lacazette and Sanchez will run off the ball for Ozil when he has the ball and they need him to do the same for them.”
Arsene Wenger's side fell to a 1-0 defeat at the bet365 Stadium last week, thanks to a first-half Jese Rodriguez strike.

Keown had already taken one swipe at Ozil, immediately after the shock defeat.
He claimed: "I feel that today Ozil should be doing more for his team. He needs to have a good look at himself.
“He wants to get away from the football club but he’s not going to do it this way. Wenger will make him sit out the rest for the season.
“So while he’s here he need to apply himself in the right way and give arsenal a performance.”
