Chelsea want Fernando Llorente from Swansea as champions plot THREE signings before transfer deadline day
Antonio Conte also wants wing-back and midfielder with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Danny Drinkwater and Cedric Soares eyed
CHELSEA want to make THREE signings before Thursday’s transfer deadline – starting with Swansea star Fernando Llorente.
Antonio Conte has made no secret of his desire to bring in reinforcements following a subdued summer at Stamford Bridge.
Big money was spent on Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger and Alvaro Morata.
But all three were direct replacements for other senior players given the boot by Conte, meaning the Blues remain low on numbers ahead of their return to the Champions League.
The Italian revealed Chelsea are continuing to negotiate for a number of stars after cruising past Everton 2-0 on Sunday.
And The Independent claims Swansea striker Llorente is just one of three lined up for a west London switch this week.
The veteran Spaniard played under Conte at Juventus and is seen as the perfect back-up for club-record signing Morata.
Swansea are reluctant to sell Llorente but could do business at around £30million for the 32-year-old, with Chelsea only willing to pay £20m.

But with Wilfried Bony heading back to Wales from Manchester City, the chances of Llorente leaving are becoming likelier by the day.
Meanwhile, Conte also wants to bring a midfielder and a wing-back to the club before the end of the week.
Leicester ace Danny Drinkwater and Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are the Italian’s preferred choice.
Although there is also strong interest in Southampton whizz Cedric Soares.
