Arsenal players want Alexis Sanchez sold ASAP as wantaway contract rebel sours the mood and threatens Gunners season
Gunners are stuck down in 16th after two consecutive defeats and the transfer saga around their star striker is an ugly distraction
ARSENAL players want Alexis Sanchez out of the door before his transfer saga causes even more damage to their disastrous start to the season, according to reports.
The Telegraph claims Gunners stars committed to the cause want the unsettled Chilean gone before he becomes a negative force on the rest of their season.
The 28-year-old asked to be released from his international training camp on Tuesday to attend to "other commitments".
Manchester City want to sign the striker and are willing to make Raheem Sterling part of the deal.
But despite Sanchez holding the club over a barrel for six months already over a new contract nothing has been sorted.

The dramatic development that United are watching him has not moved the dial.
And the Chile star still 2/1 ON to be an Etihad player by Friday night... and just 7/5 to stay at Arsenal.
Sun Bets spokesman Tim Reynolds said: "There was a considerable move in the market on Sanchez to City following Arsenal's loss to Liverpool.
"His price fell in to around 1/2 from 5/2 and we are convinced he will be City player by Thursday night."

Sanchez missed the opening day defeat to Stoke and lasted 62 minutes of the 4-0 battering at Liverpool.
At Anfield, as well as during games last season, the forward was accused of laughing at his side’s failures while he has been sat on the bench.
A large section of Gunners fans enjoy Sanchez’s unwavering commitment and sulking body language when the side is struggling – especially compared with the ever-casual Mesut Ozil.

But team-mates at the Emirates are said to be tired of the way he humiliates players after poor performances or mistakes.
Sky pundit Gary Neville thought he spotted Sanchez smirking during their Kop collapse and tore into the former Barcelona man.
He said: “I doubt he’s aware the camera’s on him. Not sure what he’s smiling about."
Then, as the camera panned towards disappointed Arsenal fans, Neville added: “That’s more representative of what he should be looking like.”
