BIRMINGHAM CITY boss Harry Redknapp has agreed a deal to sign ex-Arsenal midfielder Alex Song from Rubin Kazan - his 13th signing of the summer.
Redknapp has overseen a host of new faces in the build up to the transfer deadline.
And their £6million signing of forward Jota from Brentford will become a a club record.
Blues have agreed to pay Brentford an initial £6m fee for the Spanish playmaker, a deal that is set to rise to a club record £8m.
Song left Arsenal in 2012 after six years at the club before the Cameroon international moved to Barcelona.
He then had two loan spells at West Ham before moving to Russia. But he has been seen at Birmingham today.
Redknapp had been moaning his squad was nowhere near good enough to challenge for promotion - but the last few days suggest the ex-Spurs boss aims to take Brum to the Premier League.
Jota returned from a loan spell at Eibar to fire 12 goals in 23 appearances for the Bees during the second half of last season and has attracted the attention of several Premier League clubs.
