Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez joins team-mate Mesut Ozil in blasting critics on Instagram after Chile lose 1-0 to Bolivia

RAGING Alexis Sanchez called out his critics after he was on the losing side for the third time on the bounce.

Even though he was half the world away, Sanchez threw another strop as Chile lost their latest TWO World Cup qualifiers and slipped out of the prime spots for Russia 2018.

And Sanchez showed he is feeling the pressure as his country went down 1-0 to underdogs Bolivia in La Paz last night.

The 28-year-old was part of Arsenal's farcical transfer deadline day, as he had a move to Manchester City blow up in his face, as Thomas Lemar's reluctance to join from Monaco scuppered a big-money switch.

Posting two pictures Instagram looking distraught, one at Wembley playing for Arsenal, the other for Chile, Sanchez turned on his hecklers.

Sanchez posted: "You get tired of being criticised with reason and without reason, you get tired of wanting to be defeated, you get tired of saying to yourself "once more I'll get up" after crying after a defeat, and you get tired of telling the world and people who are with you, that everything is going well.

"And the worst, that no one ever realises how that makes you feel ... I have the back 7️⃣ of Chile and it is a huge responsibility, that's why it pays me that journalists and bad people criticise without knowing ..."

Sanchez had posted cryptic pictures on his social media account on Monday as he broke his silence following his collapsed £60million City move.

But the Etihad could be back on in January, with City only having to pay around £20m.

They remain confident Sanchez will be reunited with City boss Pep Guardiola within the next 12 months.

Sanchez's latest post comes after under-fire team-mate Mesut Ozil hit out at his Arsenal critics telling them to shut up and start supporting the club.

The superstar duo have come under scrutiny after Arsenal's terrible start to the season.

They scrapped a last-gasp win against Leicester on the opening day before losing 1-0 away to Stoke.

But things got much worse as they were trounced 4-0 by Liverpool at Anfield leaving fans seething.
