But Chelsea will have no such luxury this season and face Azebaijani champions Qarabag - who are making their debut in the Champions League group stage.

The match takes place on Tuesday, September 12.

Kick off is at 7.45pm at Stamford Bridge.

What is the team news for Chelsea vs Qarabag?

The Italian has rested Alvaro Morata and has opted for Michy Batshuayi to lead the line.

There is also a first start for summer signing Davide Zappacosta in defence with Andreas Christensen also making a rare appearance from the off.

Eden Hazard starts on the bench with Conte refusing to rush him back from injury.
