Slaven Bilic clear favourite in Premier League sack race with Arsene Wenger’s odds of being axed coming in
SLAVEN BILIC is still the clear favourite to be the next Premier League boss to lose his job - despite securing his first win of the season last night.
Bilic guided his West Ham team to their opening victory of the campaign again Huddersfield, a result that could well have saved him from the sack.
But even though the 2-0 win lifted the Hammers off the foot of the Premier League, punters believe he is still the man most likely to follow Frank De Boer out of his job.
De Boer was sacked by Crystal Palace yesterday after just 77 days in the job at Selhurst Park as he paid the price for four matches without a point and even scoring a goal.
And even though West Ham have finally got their season rolling, Ladbrokes still make him the even-money favourite to be the next Premier League boss sent packing.
Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez is second favourite at 8/1 even though his side have won their last two Premier League matches over West Ham and Swansea.
And the surprise name in the frame of five bosses priced at 12/1 is Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
Despite signing a two-year deal in the summer and seeming almost un-sackable throughout his time with the Gunners, money has been coming in for the Frenchman to leave his role.

The manner of the 4-0 defeat at Liverpool sent shockwaves around the Premier League, and re-ignited calls among the club's fans for him to go.
Arsenal steadied the ship with their convincing win over Bournemouth last weekend, but the real test will come on Sunday when they travel to Chelsea.
And another bad defeat at the hands of one of their top four rivals will again lead to questions over whether Wenger has it in him to deliver success at the Emirates.
Alex Apati, of Ladbrokes, said: "The Sack Race has already taken one casualty this season in the shape of De Boer but we wouldn't be surprised to see Bilic packing his bags in the near future."
