Jose Mourinho trolled by PlayStation after reacting to Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Basel

Twitter account for Sony's super popular console calls out the Red Devils boss, saying: "no parked buses at PlayStation."

JOSE MOURINHO might have been on the winning side during the Red Devils' romp to victory in the Champions League - but PlayStation pressed pause on his latest comments.

Sony's video game console - who sponsor the Champions League - weighed in after the Manchester United manager branded his team's football like button bashing on the console during their win over Basel.

The home side went 2-0 up after headers from Belgian stars Marouane Fellaini and Romelu Lukaku.

But the Portuguese thought his players took their foot off the gas after the second went in, as they attempted to play passing triangles.

Mourinho said: "Under 2-0 we were stable, we played with confidence.

"After 2-0 everything changed, we stopped playing seriously and stopped making right decisions.

"We could have put ourselves in trouble. We were playing fantasy football, PlayStation football. I don't like it, flicks and tricks.

"We gambled and you have to respect your opponent. I don't know if goal difference will play a part.

"We lost position, our shape, we lost balls in easy situations. I didn't like it, the players relaxed too much."

With the release of Fifa 18 and PES 2018 due in the next couple of weeks, many football fans will know exactly what Mourinho is talking about. And so will the players.

But the 54-year-old is keen not to let complacency creep in amongst his stars, with United failing to reach the knockout stages in the 2015/16 season and not even playing in the competition last term.

Needless to say, it went full circle as PlayStation UK's Twitter account noticed the comments... and tolled the gaffer about them.

They said: "Sorry @josemourinho, no parked buses at PlayStation... we are here to entertain!"

Sony have sold over 63.3million PS4 consoles worldwide, with the hardware the fourth iteration of their supremely popular gaming kit, estimating they flog about 18million a year.

United did score a third during the period of Mouriho's criticism, with Marcus Rashford hitting the net on his Champions League debut.

The England starlet has now scored on his Champions League, Europa League, Premier League, League Cup and England debuts.
