Swansea put in terrific defensive shift to deny Maurico Pochettino's men first Premier League home win
TOTTENHAM'S Wembley woes returned as they failed to break down Swansea.
Spurs thought they had ended their Arch hoodoo with their 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
But there will be questions raised again after this Swans stalemate.
It means Mauricio Pochettino's men have failed to win any of their three Premier League matches at their temporary home so far.
They dominated this game but could not make a breakthrough against the resilient visitors who rode their luck at times.
Harry Kane tested Swansea keeper Lukaaz Fabianski with a 35-yard free kick in the ninth minute.
Heung-min Son then almost scored a replica of his Champions League goal against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday when his near post shot was tipped into the side netting by Fabianski.
Tottenham continued to pile on the pressure without creating many clear-cut chances.

Swansea had a lucky escape when Federico Fermandez turned Son's 38th minute cross over his own bar.
Then from the resulting corner Trippier drove a low shot wife of the target for Spurs.
Swansea defended doggedly and their only real chance of the first half came when Alfie Mawson headed Tom Carroll's corner over the bar two minutes before the break.
The second half continued in much the same vein as Eriksen had a low shot saved.
Spurs claimed a penalty in the 56th minute when Dele Alli flicked on Trippier's cross and the ball hit Martin Olsson's hand. But ref Mjke Dean waved away appeals.
The hosts then went even closer when Fabianski blocked Son's shot and Moussa Sissoko pulled the rebound back for Kane, who thundered a shot against the bar.
Ex-Arsenal keeper Fabiabski was having an inspired game against his former North Londoners and the Pole pulled off a fine save to keep out Kane's near-post header before tipping Alli's overhead kick over the bar.

- Tottenham were seeking their first Premier League win at Wembley as they bid to recapture the form that saw them finish as runners-up to Chelsea last season.
- They absolutely threatened to overwhelm the visitors in the early stages when Swansea could barely get out of their own half.
- But it proved to be a difficult exercise because the Swans simply weren't prepared to press high, making the home side do all the running.
- Amazingly, Swansea were protecting a great record of four consecutive clean sheets on their league travels.
- Harry Kane is amazing. Just is. Given him a sniff of goal, or a free kick chance, and he'll make mincemeat of you... usually. Didn't happen in the 58th minute, though, when he hit the bar, while Lukasz Fabianski was equal to a first-half set piece special from 25 yards.
- Tottenham have now played Swansea 13 times in the Premier League. Their record reads: W10 D3 L0.
- Renato Sanches looks as though he'll be a decent replacement for Gylfi Sigurdsson as he can certainly thread a neatly-weighted through ball to perfection. Must get used to the pace of the English top flight, though.
- Spurs - as a whole - look the part. Maurico Pochettino obviously concentrates on extensive ball skills in training for his team are so confident in possession and trust each other to keep hold of the ball.
- But they must brush up on their crossing. Considering their high possession toll, precious few balls into the area found their man.

Spurs boss Maurico Pochettino questioned ref Mike Dean's decision not to award a penalty when Serge Aurier appeared to chest the ball down inside the penalty area before being tripped by a Swansea defender.
He groaned: "It is so clear. What is not clear why Mike Dean justify in front of our players that it was handball but it was not handball.
"If you are not sure about the situation then why say it was handball? It was unlucky but we need to look at ourselves and try to be better next time and score before this situation.
"It was unlucky for us. We did not get the one penalty we deserved. In that situation the referee had a not good afternoon."
Said Swansea's Paul Clement: "I am very proud of the players and the effort they put in to get the result. "I said to be confident in your defending and if you do that, and are nice and compact, you can get a result here.
"I am confident in this group that if they execute what they did in training they can do well. We played a very good side that came off the back of a very good result in the Champions League.
"Sanches is rebuilding confidence after a turbulent year at Bayern. We knew he wouldn't be lighting things up straight away here, he is getting used to the pace of the Premier League.
"It takes a bit of time to get up to speed."
