Bradley Lowery Foundation shirts worn by Everton and Sunderland in Carabao Cup third-round tie at Goodison Park
Teams don logos backing the charity formed after the six-year-old Black Cats fan died in July from a rare type of cancer
EVERTON and Sunderland wore Bradley Lowery Foundation logos for Wednesday night's Carabao Cup third-round clash.
Black Cats fan Bradley died in July aged six after his long fight with rare cancer neuroblastoma touched football and the British public.
His mum Gemma, from Co Durham, was delighted the two clubs' shirt sponsors agreed the teams could promote the charity set up in his name last month.
She said: "We are absolutely thrilled to see the foundation logo on the front of the shirts."
Bradley was well-known at the Stadium of Light and a regular visitor, especially with England striker Jermain Defoe.
But many other clubs reached out to him, too.
And he was an Everton guest for their Premier League match against Sunderland in February.
The Toffees' shirt sponsor SportPesa and Sunderland backers Dafabet allowed the logos for the EFL Cup tie.

The foundation aims to support other neuroblastoma victims and their families.
Bradley was diagnosed when just 18 months old.
And a Just Giving page for other families has raised more than £390,000 after nearly 11,000 donations.
Art the time the foundation was formed, Gemma said: "We're hoping to support, advise and encourage families on their fundraising campaigns to reach their target and get their child medical treatment and equipment.
'We'll give out some grants, but we'll also spend time building rapport with families to support them in all kinds of different ways. "
On the pitch, meanwhile, Dominic Calvert-Lewin's double set up Everton's first win in seven games, with Oumar Niasse's late solo special making it 3-0.
