Romelu Lukaku wants Manchester United fans to stop singing ‘racist’ chant, reveals agent Mino Raiola

United have said they will use CCTV to punish any supporters who were singing the chant after the Belgian's goal against Southampton

ROMELU LUKAKU'S agent Mino Raiola has repeated calls for Manchester United fans to stop singing a "racist" chant about him.

United have said they will use CCTV to track down culprits for chanting a disrespectful song about the Belgian hitman's manhood.

And now super-agent Raiola has against told supporters to not sing the song and move on from the incident.

Speaking to the Times, Raiola said: “He would like this song to stop.

"They are talking more about the song than about his football. That’s his and my quote.”

Fan group MUFC Songs and Chants said they would only stop singing the song if Lukaku made it clear he wanted it to.

Some fans were heard singing to the tune of the Stone Roses’ ‘Made Of Stone’ after he hit the winner against Southampton.

It came as Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata THANKED Blues’ fans for changing an offensive song about his goal-scoring exploits.

A United spokesperson said: “Manchester United has a zero tolerance stance on offensive chanting and behaviour.

“The club and player have been clear in asking for an end to the chant.

“The club has worked with relevant bodies and supporters groups in trying to eradicate any offensive behaviour and will take further action against individuals if this continues.

“The club is in discussion with the police and has asked for CCTV footage from Southampton and will try to identify those who disrespected the player’s wishes not to sing the song.”
