It came playing for Indian Futsal League side Krystal Mumbai Warriors.
The Wales icon hung back from a corner.. and the rest was down to pure optimism and timing.
As the ball was delivered there was only one thing on Giggs' mind.
And he promptly smashed a half-volley straight into the top corner of the Chennai net.
Giggs displayed the power, precision and technique that any modern-day Premier League superstar would be proud of.
He earned himself a standing ovation, while his goal soon went viral on social media.
