Jakub Jankto wanted by Everton as Ronald Koeman joins Arsenal in race for young Udinese midfielder
Toffees are reported to have sent scouts to watch Jankto in action in 3-1 loss to Roma at the weekend
Everton have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto.
The Czech Republic international, 21, was watched by Arsene Wenger's scouts last season.
And his agent has claimed the Gunners are one of a number of clubs keeping a close eye on Jankto.
According to reports in Italy, Everton also watched the player during Udinese's 3-1 defeat to Roma at the weekend.
The player is said to be a "lover" of the Premier League.
But Italian giants Juventus and Inter Milan are also in the hunt.
Jankto's representative Beppe Riso recently said: "Arsenal like him, he’s a lover of English football.
"He’s also liked by Juve, Inter and other teams.
"Still, he’s young, he’s 21 years old, he must be calm and he’s only thinking about Udinese.

"After that, we’ll see. Do I see him more in the Premier League than other Leagues? Yes."
Jankto joined Udinese in 2014 from Slavia Prague.
He spent last season on loan at Ascoli, netting five times in Italy's second flight.
