Romelu Lukaku to skip Los Angeles court date after being arrested for ‘excessive noise’ in Beverly Hills holiday home
Man United striker is not required to travel to America to attend the October 2 hearing
ROMELU LUKAKU is set to miss his court date in Los Angeles on Monday.
The Manchester United was arrested for “excessive noise” at a summer party just before signing at Old Trafford.
Lukaku, 24, is not required to travel to America to attend the October 2 hearing and also had an option to settle the fine before it got to court.
He is now expected to link up with the Belgium national team as planned and take a full part in the international break.
The £75million striker was given a citation by police back in July just before he agreed his deal to United.
The arrest was over a rowdy party at his rented holiday home in Beverly Hills during his summer holidays in the States.
At the time a police statement read: “On July 2, 2017, at approximately 8:00 PM, Beverly Hills Police Department officers arrested a 24-year-old male subject by the name of Romelu Lukaku Bolingoli.

“Bolingoli received a misdemeanour citation for Beverly Hills Municipal Code Violation 5-1-104 — Excessive Noise. The citation was issued after officers responded to five other noise complaints from the same location, which resulted in verbal warnings.
“These noise violations occurred at a residence in Beverly Hills where Bolingoli was temporarily residing. Bolingoli was released at the scene with the citation and was not physically arrested.”
