Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez praised by Alex Iwobi for his stunning back-heel assist against Brighton
Arsenal beat Brighton 2-0 thanks to Sanchez leaving his opponents for dead with spectacular piece of skill
ALEX IWOBI joked Alexis Sanchez has “eyes in the back of his head” after this amazing back-heel.
Sanchez sent the entire Brighton defence the wrong way to set up Iwobi’s 56th-minute clincher.
It means the Chilean has been directly involved in 35 Premier League goals since the start of last season — more than DOUBLE any other Arsenal player.
And no one appreciates his contribution more than the Nigerian international Iwobi, 21. He said: “I didn’t think Alexis would find me from that position but it just shows the skill he has.
“He is capable of anything. To have eyes in the back of his head and back-heel it to me like that was amazing.”
Iwobi was joined on the scoresheet by defender Nacho Monreal — who netted of his first Premier League goal since March 2013 — to set Arsenal on their way to an 11th straight Emirates win.
The Spaniard, 31, who turned in the 17th-minute opener, said: “I’m really pleased to help the team with my second goal for Arsenal and I was lucky to be there in the right place.”
Arsenal have not conceded a goal in four Premier League matches since their 4-0 battering at Liverpool.

Monreal added: “We had a talk after we lost to Liverpool. The mood was really poor and we agreed that we cannot play like we did against them.
“But the team has reacted well since then. We are more compact and we are keeping clean sheets — which is really important because we know we have players who can score goals.”
Arsene Wenger, who made nine changes from the side that beat Bate Borisov in the Europa League, confirmed that skipper Laurent Koscielny has pulled out of the French squad after suffering an Achilles injury in training.

Koscielny will miss France’s Group A games against Bulgaria and Belarus.
But the Gunners boss is confident he will be available after the international break — along with Mesut Ozil and groin-injury victim Danny Welbeck.
Ozil’s knee injury will keep him out of Germany’s Group C qualifiers against Northern Ireland and Azerbaijan.
