MANCHESTER UNITED star Marcus Rashford says he can take free-kicks like Old Trafford legend Cristiano Ronaldo - but says he has not shown it yet.

The 19-year-old forward has become a key part of the Red Devils first-team since his stunning breakthrough two seasons ago.

And now he is even getting set-piece responsibility in Jose Mourinho's side.

He demonstrated his dead-ball capabilities on Saturday as he set-up a Marouane Fellaini to head home in United's 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

However, despite only scoring once for the club from a free-kick against Celta Vigo in April, he insists his ability is just as good as the Real Madrid superstar - but he tries to do things his own way.

Rashford, referring to that Europa League strike against the Spaniards, said: "No, it's actually different.

"I can do it like he (Ronaldo) does it but I haven't done it yet."

Ronaldo became famous for his stunning technique from free-kicks during his six years at the Theatre of Dreams.

And he has continued that trend on at the Bernabeu.

Meanwhile, Rashford has struck the net six times in eleven matches for club and country so far this campaign.

He is currently with Gareth Southgate's England squad preparing to take on Slovenia and Lithuania in the country's final World Cup qualifiers.

He bagged the winner in the 2-1 triumph over Slovakia last time out.

Now he looks set to start on Thursday at Wembley against Slovenia and win his 12th cap.
