ARSENE WENGER has said the Arsenal board will decide his future, not him, as Carlo Ancelotti is linked with the top job in North London.
The Gunners chief, 67, is still under pressure as the Emirates boss, with the recently-sacked Bayern Munich chief in the running to take over.
Wenger only signed a new two-year deal earlier this year, despite a host of protests from disgruntled Arsenal fans.
But when quizzed over who could take over the reins should he leave, Wenger said: “I don’t know who will replace me at Arsenal.
“When you’re a manager for a club you have to work like you’re there forever. It demands total commitment.
"I believe as well that the football club works by everybody doing his own job well.
"My job is to prepare the team for the next game and be responsible for the technical policy of Arsenal Football Club.
“The job of my board is to choose the next manager. I don’t want to do the job of the board.”
Ancelotti is currently looking for a new job having been given the boot by Bundesliga big-boys Bayern.
The Italian former Chelsea boss revealed his lack of "rapport" with the players was his undoing.

Ancelotti claimed: “I don’t know if my way of approaching the work is the right one.
“When I left Madrid, they told me I was too close to the players, then Bayern Munich fired me because they said I had a bad rapport with the players.
“I just want to have a rapport with people. Were the players against me? I don’t know. I respected all of them."
