The Daily Mail report that the Gunners have not made a bid but around £20million could see the Dutch side allow him to leave.

Lozano, 22, only signed for PSV in June but the club could cash in on the talented youngster in January if he keeps up his good form.

The report claims Arsenal chief scout Steve Rowley has been to Eindhoven to see Lozano in action.

Lozano scored just five minutes into his professional debut at Mexican club Pachuca and helped them to runners-up in the league.

He is known for his pace and skill while being right-footed and playing on the left so he can cut inside and shoot.

Lozano was due to play for El Tri in their World Cup qualifier against Bolivia but has been withdrawn through injury.

He has returned to Holland to recover after reportedly dislocating his right elbow.

Mexico have already qualified for a place in next summer's tournament in Russia.

Meanwhile, Arsenal legend Marc Overmars is reportedly going to return to the club.

The 44-year-old is currently the director of football at Ajax, but has been rumoured to be heading back to North London after the end of the season.

According to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, the Dutchman is in line to return to the Gunners, believed to be in a coaching role.
