Marouane Fellaini driven into Manchester United training by brother to receive treatment for knee ligament injury
MAROUANE FELLAINI has arrived back in Manchester and began rehab on his knee ligament strain that will keep him out of the blockbuster game against Liverpool.
The former Everton midfielder has been one of Jose Mourinho's most important players this season, especially after Paul Pogba was injured in their opening Champions League game.
And the Portuguese will no doubt be furious with Belgium boss Roberto Martinez for risking Fellaini, with the country already having qualified for the World Cup.
Fellaini, 29, was injured in their thrilling win over Bosnia and Herzegovina as the Red Devils won 4-3 in Sarajevo.
Kevin de Bruyne later slammed the state of the pitch at the Stadion Grbavica as his big-haired midfield partner was taken away for scans.
The assessments later showed that Fellaini had only strained knee ligaments rather than torn them and will be out for only a couple of weeks.

But Fellaini has already started his rehab after returning to the AON Training Complex in Carrington, being driven by his lookalike brother Mansour.
Also arriving were Phil Jones in a silver Bentley, who was not part of Gareth Southgate's latest England squad despite a strong start to the season.
And Michael Carrick also drove in for training in his silver range rover, after picking up an injury himself.

Teenage defender Axel Tuanzebe was the other member of United's squad to drive in to Carrington in a black range rover, while former Treble legend Andy Cole turned up as he continues his rehab from kidney failure.
Cole, 45, whose son Devante has been scoring goals for Fleetwood Town, has been bumping into Zlatan Ibrahimovic in United's gym during his training workouts.
