Morata joined Chelsea from Real Madrid over the summer as a replacement for Diego Costa and has made an immediate impact.

Morata already has six goals and two assists under Antonio Conte, which gives him a minutes-per-goal ratio of 82.

And while that number is bettered by Manchester City trio Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling, it’s the next figure which reveals why Morata is the main man in England.

His contribution to eight goals means he’s helped himself to a staggering 62 per cent of Chelsea’s team goals this season.
