West Ham targeting former Manchester City bosses Manuel Pellegrini and Roberto Mancini to replace Slaven Bilic
WEST HAM are targeting former Manchester City bosses Manuel Pellegrini and Roberto Mancini to replace the under-fire Slaven Bilic.
The Hammers board and owners met on Saturday to discuss the Croatian's future following their 3-0 humiliation at home to Brighton on Friday night.
While it is suggested West Ham will given Bilic at least one or two more games to salvage his job, the club are lining up a host of potential replacements.
The East London side will next go up against London rivals Tottenham and Crystal Palace, with the latter arguably the most important.
Both clubs are already in the midst of a Premier League survival battle, with the game on October 28 already looking like a real six-pointer.
In Pellegrini and Mancini, the Hammers are eyeing up bosses who have BOTH lifted the Premier League trophy.
Mancini famously led City to their first-ever Premier League title in 2011-12, thanks to a last-gasp Sergio Aguero strike against QPR.
Meanwhile, Pellegrini won the league title two years later, in the 2013-14 season.
Mancini is currently in charge of Russian side Zenit St Petersburg, while Pellegrini is currently unsettled at Hebei China Fortune.
Other bosses in line to replace Bilic should be face the swinging axe are Huddersfield boss David Wagner - fresh from inspiring a 2-1 win over Manchester United - and Carlo Ancelotti.
