ARSENE WENGER admits his position as Arsenal manager will be reviewed at the end of the season.
The Frenchman signed a two-year deal in the summer despite vocal opposition by a significant number of fans.
The Gunners chief told shareholders at the club’s stormy annual general meeting he was as hungry as ever for success.
But he revealed an end-of-season assessment will be held in May.
He said: “My hunger, my commitment is bigger than ever. But I accept when you have been a long time at a club everyone questions that.
“I question myself a lot to be better every day and I will sit down every year with my board to see where I go.
“But I would just like to assure you my hunger to be successful with this club is huge and no matter what happens I will always love this club.”
Wenger, 68, added: “That means I am 21 years at the club and I want to feel that I do well, and see what the board thinks of my performance.

“After that we decide where we go from there. Of course my desire has always been to respect my contracts, but that is what I meant.
“I dedicated 99 per cent of my lifetime to try to make you happy. Looking at what happened today, it’s not easy.

“I concede that, but my determination is stronger than ever.
“The weight of the past, of the future has been kicked out of the game.
“The weight of the present has become heavier and the only thing people want.
“That means for me it is here and now. Win.”
