Tammy Abraham, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Joe Gomez have all been named in the England squad to face Germany and Brazil.
Swansea striker Abraham, Crystal Palace midfielder Loftus-Cheek and Liverpool defender Gomez have been handed their first senior call-ups by boss Gareth Southgate.
The England boss has turned to three players he worked with during his time in charge of the under-21 side for two key matches as he builds for Russia 2018.
Loftus-Cheek, 21, has impressed in a struggling Palace side on a season on loan at Selhurst Park from Chelsea.
Fellow Stamford Bridge youngster Abraham is also starting to find his feet at Swansea as he spends another year on loan from the Blues.
The 20-year-old has scored five goals for the Swans this season, four in the Premier League, and is rated highly by Southgate.
And under-21 captain Gomez, 20, has caught the eye at the back for Liverpool having recovered from the knee injury that sidelined for almost a year.
The loss of Everton defender Michael Keane through injury left a defensive gap in the squad, and it is Gomez who has impressed despite Liverpool's problems at the back this season.
Southgate has made the bold move to look to his younger players as he tries to build a squad capable of performing well at the World Cup.

Having qualified easily for the finals, the England boss admitted last month there were some players in his squad who did not deserve their places.
But he was limited in taking any gambles while qualifying needed to be assured, so he kept faith with more established players even though many were struggling to get regular games at club level.

It is a clear indication that the England boss is looking to take as many players to Russia as possible who have not been scarred by previous England failures.
Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks was drafted in for the previous two matches, and he will keep his place in the squad for the double-header against two of the leading contenders for World Cup glory at Wembley.
