And Los Blancos chiefs see Poch, 45, as the future - hoping he can lure Dele Alli and Harry Kane to Spain, claims the Daily Mail.

Pochettino has already signed a long-term extension at White Hart Lane and claims he could stay in North London for 15 years.

Chairman Daniel Levy would be under no obligation to let the boss quit, while his stance has always been that Kane, 24, and Alli, 21, are not for sale.
