Liverpool star Sadio Mane ‘to be accompanied by club physio for Senegal’s upcoming World Cup matches against South Africa’
Jurgen Klopp is worried his star man could suffer a setback after just returning from a lengthy injury lay-off
LIVERPOOL have reportedly sent one of their own physios to accompany Sadio Mane for Senegal’s World Cup qualifiers against South Africa.
The Telegraph claims Jurgen Klopp is taking no chances after spending big chunks of this season without his key winger.
Mane finally returned from a lengthy injury lay-off last weekend and was in top form as Liverpool routed West Ham 4-1.
But with Senegal now set to play for their spot at next year’s World Cup, there are said to be fears that Mane could break down yet again.
Klopp is unable to stop the player from representing his country at their time of need.
So the German has seemingly taken drastic measures to make sure Mane returns to Anfield without any further setbacks, with physio Scott McAuley also travelling to Africa this week.

Meanwhile, Liverpool teammate Philippe Coutinho continues to be wooed by Barcelona following a failed move last summer.
Ex-Reds ace Luis Suarez believes the Brazilian remains keen on a Nou Camp switch, and has praised Coutinho for still giving 100 per cent on Merseyside.
