Arsenal star Jack Wilshere insists he is staying after boss Arsene Wenger promised midfielder first-team football
Gunners ace says he is ready to earn a new contract under Wenger, with his current deal expiring this summer
JACK WILSHERE wants to stay at Arsenal — and says he has been guaranteed first-team football this season by Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners ace, 25, is out of Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the friendlies against Germany and Brazil due to his lack of Prem game time.
But he is ready to earn a new contract under Wenger, with his current deal expiring this summer.
Wilshere said: "I’ve got a great relationship with the boss, I’ve heard him speak in press conferences he’s ensured me I will get some playing time.

"I want to stay at this club, I’ve said that many times.
"I left last year to get some football, I’ve done that and I’m back now and I’m fit and ready to play.
“The future will take care of itself. All I have got to do is stay fit and play my football.”
Wilshere has struggled to break into the Arsenal starting line-up and been limited to appearances in the Europa League and Carabao Cup.
But the playmaker knows he needs to make himself more important on a regular basis before turning his attention to the international team.
He added: I’m a proud Englishman and I want to be playing whenever I can.
"Unfortunately it’s down to the manager who didn’t select me and said I need more football and that’s what I’ve got to do."
