FRANK LAMPARD played the prankster as he photobombed Chelsea fans during a visit to Japan.
The Blues legend was in Tokyo for a supporters’ event which attracted a gigantic crowd.
Lampard took the time to do a Q&A and sign autographs after spending his morning coaching kids during a football session in partnership with Chelsea’s kit sponsors Yokohama tyres.
But some lucky fans got more than they bargained for when they posed for pictures alongside the Premier League trophy.
Lampard snuck out from behind a white board to crash the snaps before making himself known to the supporters, who all reacted with glee.
And the former England international also gave some interesting answers to a number of questions, including the best player he worked alongside at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard said, via the club’s official website: “I find it very difficult to give one answer as I played with so many, but I’ll give you two.
“One is John Terry, who was the captain, so not only a great player but he led the club and was a strength in the dressing room.
“The second is Didier Drogba because he always performed in the big games and the finals, and without him wouldn’t have won the Champions League.
“I had many great moments but the clear winner is winning the Champions League. The group of players we had for ten years – Drogba, Terry, (Petr) Cech and (Ashley) Cole – really wanted to win it.
“On that night in Munich, even though the game was very tough and stressful, the celebrations afterwards, on the pitch with the fans, were the best moments of my career.
“The great thing about John (Terry), and probably the partnership we had, was that every new signing we had coming into the club, John first, and myself as vice-captain, would always make sure they understood the culture and mentality, and the fact that at Chelsea you had to be winners.
“We made the dressing very strong and John was at the front of that. John’s influence wasn’t just as a great player, but influencing everybody at the club.
“For all of the players at Chelsea, we appreciated the support we had in Japan and we could see it in 2012 (at the World Club Cup), and it’s an honour for me to be back here and see such support again.”
