Chelsea star Alvaro Morata reveals he hilariously hit back at ‘fan’ who claimed he wasn’t worth £20m

Blues forward had a witty response for less-than-impressed supporter who take aim at the £65m summer signing

CHELSEA star Alvaro Morata has revealed he hilariously hit back at a "fan" who claimed he wasn't worth £20million.

The Spaniard, 24, moved to the Blues in the summer in a £65m deal from La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Despite turning heads with a string of impressive performances, Morata claimed not everyone has been enamoured to him.

Morata revealed: "The other day someone told me your agent must be Harry Potter since you aren't worth £20million.

"So I asked him how much he was worth..!

"There will always be people ready to criticise."

Meanwhile, many fans do have Morata's back - after scoring seven goals in the Premier League this season already.

One person who is fully behind the Spaniard is Chelsea legend Frank Lampard.

The ex-England man recently claimed: "He's been very impressive, Morata.

"He's scored regularly, he's a very complete striker.

"He has everything – speed, quality on the ball, his movement is fantastic and he can score goals.

"The goal against Manchester United... the quality of the finish with his head was top class.
