The club confirmed today that defender Alderweireld, who has damaged his hamstring, and midfielder Wanyama, who is suffering with a knee problem, are both continuing their rehabilitation and missed training.

Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly expecting Alderweireld to be out for six weeks, but he did receive a triple boost on the injury front ahead of the trip to face the Gunners.

Star striker Harry Kane, who missed England's matches against Germany and Brazil with a troublesome knee, took part in the session this morning.

The hotshot has scored 17 goals in 18 matches for club and country this campaign and the in-form ace's return will strike fear into the Arsenal backline.

Harry Winks was the other Tottenham man to miss England's latest get-together after hurting his ankle.

However, he round of the hat-trick of first-team returnees for Poch as he puts his squad through their final preparations for Arsenal.

Second-choice goalkeeper Michel Vorm, 34, also made a comeback at the session.

Hugo Lloris' deputy has been carrying a knee injury but should be able to take his place on the bench.

Tottenham travel to the Emirates for a 12.30 lunchtime kick-off against Arsenal.
