Emannuel Adebayor slams Tomas Rosicky over Arsenal injury record as striker claims midfielder would be crocked if anyone even talked to him
Rosicky's injury record was bad during years in north London and he missed a large chunk of time during Adebayor's spell
EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR has hit out at former Arsenal team-mate Tomas Rosicky’s injury record.
The duo spent three seasons together at the Emirates but failed to secure a single trophy during that time.
Rosicky suffered a hamstring tendon injury midway through that spell, and didn’t feature for a year and a half as he recovered.
But it appears that Adebayor found his sideline woes a source of amusement after poking fun at the former Czech Republic international during a recent interview.
Adebayor was talking to So Foot via GFFN and was asked about the state of Arsenal during his three years at the club.
Adebayor said: “I was the strongest player on the team, despite the fact that I weighed 73kg.

“Chelsea had (Michael) Essien and (Michael) Ballack in midfield. We had Rosicky. If you said as much as ‘how are you’ to him, he would then be injured for two and a half months.”
Rosicky ended up staying at Arsenal until 2016 before rejoining boyhood team Sparta Prague, winning two FA Cups and a Community Shield along the way.

Meanwhile, Adebayor spent time at Manchester City, Real Madrid, Tottenham and Crystal Palace before joining Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir.
But despite his change of scenery, Adebayor still has seven goals in just 11 league appearances this season.
