TOTTENHAM are prepared to rival Manchester United's interest in Trabzonspor ace Yusuf Yazici, according to reports in Turkey.
The attacking midfielder has hit form in the Super Lig this season to break into Turkish national team.
And Sporx claims Spurs chiefs are preparing to table a formal offer to steal a march on rivals United.
Yazici, 20, came through Trabzonspor's academy and made his first-team debut at 18.
He has gone on to rack up 43 appearances, chipping in with 10 goals as well as providing a creative spark.
His breakthrough season, which has seen him earn two caps, led to a number of rumours a move to Europe is on the cards.

And Premier League clubs will have to fend off interest from Italy and Germany, whose sides have strong scouting networks in Turkey.
The Turkish top-flight has produced a number of prospects in recent years with in-form striker Cenk Tosun in particular catching the eye.

Crystal Palace agreed a £22.5milion fee for the 26-year-old Besiktas centre-forward in the final days of August after an earlier bid had been rejected by the Turkish champions.
