Kevin De Bruyne plays down feud with Paul Pogba after Man United man wished injury on Man City stars
French star said: 'I know that's bad to say things like that, but I hope for us that some very important players get injured'.
PAUL POGBA’S red that rules him out of the Manchester derby has nothing to do with karma – despite him wishing for Man City injuries – says Kevin De Bruyne.
Last week the desperate United star said: “I hope, and I know that's bad to say things like that, but I hope for us that some very important players get injured.”
And he was rewarded for his negative vibes against his fellow pros and noisy neighbours with a red in the win over Arsenal and a three-game ban beginning Sunday.
United’s fading hopes of pegging back Pep Guardiola’s league leaders have been hit by the £89m man’s suspension but classy KdB is refusing to gloat despite Pog’s spiteful comments.
De Bruyne said: “I don't believe in that s***.
“I'm a very straightforward guy. If someone believes it is karma, then OK - everyone has their right to their opinion.
