CHELSEA are ready to fight Premier League rivals Arsenal for the signing of Udinese star Jakub Jankto, according to reports in Italy.
The Czech ace has been in impressive form this season with five goals in 18 appearances for the 21-year-old.
Away at Crotone at the weekend, Jankto bagged a 13-minute brace in the 3-0 victory to drive up his reputation and price even further.
AC Milan were one of the first big sides to be linked with a move for the midfielder but Premier League cash is likely to win a bidding war.
Arsene Wenger is said to be a keen admirer of Jakub Jankto’s talents and would love to add him to his squad at the Emirates.
But Corriere dello Sport report Chelsea are prepared to step in the hunt as well, looking to bring in Jankto at the end of the season.
