Red Devils youngster was caught out on social media after 'liking' Brahim Diaz's Instagram post declaring 'Manchester is blue'
ANGEL GOMES has seemingly declared his loyalty for Manchester United after being caught out ‘liking’ a City post on social media.
The 17-year-old is believed to be set for a bright future at Old Trafford after making his first-team debut in May.
But Gomes appeared to forget which side he was on after Sunday’s infamous derby, ‘liking’ City starlet Brahim Diaz’s Instagram post showing players hugging and captioned: “Manchester is blue!”
And United fans were clearly irked following a 2-1 defeat which saw Pep Guardiola’s men pull 11 points ahead of Jose Mourinho’s parked bus.
One wrote: “I don’t care if he’s a promising player, this is disgraceful.”
Another added: “[It’s] simply disgusting to like ‘Manchester is blue’ for a player from our own academy.

“10 years ago he would’ve been crucified by the likes of Rio [Ferdinand] and Gary [Neville], sad that we don’t have characters like them anymore.”
However, Gomes has come out firing to prove that he is 100 per cent committed to the Red Devils.
