UNDER-FIRE Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has failed to celebrate after finally scoring a goal.
And Twitter has immediately reacted with shock and surprise, with Gary Lineker even claiming that the Belgian could be making a point following recent criticism from fans.
Lukaku has not been at his best for United in the last few months, missing a number of easy chances in big games against the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City.
The striker took the brunt of the blame as United crumbled to a 2-1 defeat against their rivals at Old Trafford on Sunday.
But Lukaku finally got his name on the scoresheet once again with a strike against Bournemouth this evening.
It look just 25 minutes for him to find the back of the net, but instead of celebrating with his trademark run, Lukaku instead stood completely still.

He waved at the United faithful as team-mates mobbed him, but many are surprised by the reaction.
Pundit Lineker wrote: “Lukaku scores and doesn’t celebrate. Trying to make point?”
