West Ham boss David Moyes recalls Joe Hart for Carabao Cup clash with Arsenal tonight

West Ham boss David Moyes has confirmed Joe Hart will start in goal tonight for the Carabao Cup quarter-final clash with Arsenal.

Hart, on loan from Manchester City was unable to play against his parent club earlier this month and was replaced by Adrian.

Moyes has stuck with the Spanish keeper who has kept three clean sheets since the defeat at the Etihad.

By contrast, the England international has been low on confidence and let in 30 goals before being replaced for the City loss.

The Scot insists Hart has shown the right attitude since being dropped and is ready to fight for his place.

Moyes said ahead of the trip to the Emirates: “Joe Hart will definitely start, he's been very good around the place and he's ready to play."

The Hammers boss is not expected to make wholesale changes to the team that emphatically beat Stoke on Saturday.

Manuel Lanzini is expected to be banned after his FA charge for diving and Mark Noble is a doubt with a hamstring strain.

Moyes added: “We've got the same sort of squad but with a couple of injuries and a couple of young players around.

"Andy Carroll could return, he's had a bad back but he trained today and we will make a call on him tomorrow.

"Ideally we would have changed one or two players, but we're a bit short and our priority is the Premier League, but nothing would give me more pleasure than reaching a Cup final."
