Arsenal’s injury-prone ace Jack Wilshere trolled by Argos over buying pair of crutches for Christmas
Bournemouth fans were discussing impact of midfielder's loan spell when official account got involved with funny tweet
ARGOS trolled Jack Wilshere over his history of injuries by saying he should invest in some crutches if he ever returned to Bournemouth.
The Arsenal midfielder's season on loan at Eddie Howe's side was cut short by a hairline fracture to his left fibula.
Wilshere joined the Cherries in August last year but in April this year it was confirmed he would miss the rest of the season after making 29 appearances in all.
Opinion on the success of his spell there has been mixed and it was in a Twitter debate that the official Argos Helpers account got involved.
One Bournemouth fan said the England star's contribution had been "greatly understated".
That could stand to reason given that Howe's side are currently just one point above the relegation places.

But it was after one fan said that he would "love" him back at the Vitality after seeing him outside Argos recently that the high street store got involved.
Next to a picture of some adjustable forearm crutches that could be bought for £24.99 from the store, a worker by the name of Jack wrote: "We've plenty of these in stock if you do end up getting him back, lads!"

Despite the jokey nature of the tweet, not everyone was impressed.
One replied: "Well done lad you just lost a customer. Hope your boss is happy with you."
