Liverpool block Daniel Sturridge loan exit in January but Danny Ings will be allowed to leave in January
Jurgen Klopp willing to let Ings leaving in January in order to build up his match fitness after two serious knee injuries
LIVERPOOL are reportedly set to loan out Danny Ings – which means Daniel Sturridge will have to stay put next month.
The Daily Mail claims Jurgen Klopp has decided to let Ings, 25, leave Anfield until the end of the season in order to build up his match fitness.
Ings has suffered a number of serious knee injuries during his time at Liverpool and is attracting interest from Newcastle, Stoke and West Ham.
But his gain is Sturridge’s loss, with Klopp unwilling to lose both of his back-up strikers in the same window.
Sturridge, 28, is desperate to leave the Reds after spending most of his season warming the bench.
The forward fears he will lose his spot in England’s World Cup squad should he lack of playing time continue.

And Sturridge had been hoping to make an impact elsewhere, with Spanish duo Valencia and Real Betis keen on a loan.
But despite having youngster Dominic Solanke in his ranks, Klopp will now block Sturridge’s departure in order to maintain his status as super-sub.
