The teenager has scored three goals and provided two assists in the French top flight so far and his swashbuckling attacking style has fans leaping off their seats

L’Equipe claim Barca sent two of their top talent spotters to Wednesday’s match with Toulouse, with Aouar playing left midfield just behind Manchester United flop Memphis Depay.

Lyon won 2-1 with Aouar - who is also attracting plenty of interest from Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger - impressing the Barca staff.

The playmaker is under contract until 2020 and happy at Lyon but has the confidence of a Champions League star already.
