Brighton boss Chris Hughton refuses to rule out move for Celtic’s £30million-rated Moussa Dembele
Hughton will reportedly test the waters with a £20m bid in January and promises to work 'as hard as we can' to bring in players
CHRIS HUGHTON has refused to rule out a January move for Celtic's £30million-rated striker Moussa Dembele.
The Brighton boss will test the waters with a £20m bid in January, according to the Daily Mail.
Hughton is prepared to smash his side's transfer record for the highly-rated France Under-21 international.
The Seagulls boss has been singing the praises of the Hoops frontman, who has scored eight goals in all competitions so far this season.
Hughton said: "He is a very good player and he has had a very good season, but he's not out player.
"He is one of probably 100 names you could mention that, if I had an opportunity to want them, then you probably would.

"But he's not our player, like anyone else you could throw into the mix.
"We'll work as hard as we can in this period of time leading into January.
"If anything happens in January, it will happen because it is right and the processes leading into it would be right."
Jose Mourinho reportedly opened talks with Dembele last month.
