Gunners are looking to add another forward to ranks in January if they decide to sell contract rebel Alexis Sanchez and have identified the Mexican star valued at £42million but Liverpool are keen
ARSENAL are in pole-position to bag PSV Eindhoven forward Hirving Lozano, ahead of Liverpool.
Lozano, 22 has hit 10 goals in 15 appearances for PSV who top the Dutch Eredivisie by five points.
However Liverpool are now in the mix for the Mexican international, potentially sparking a bidding war between the pair according to the Daily Star.
The winger nicknamed “Chucky” moved to Holland from Mexican outfit Pachuca in June on a six-year contract.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen to add another attacker with contract rebel Alexis Sanchez on his way out of the Emirates, either next month or as a free agent to Manchester City in the summer.
City boss Pep Guardiola still wants Sanchez at the Etihad after working with him at Barcelona and having seen a £60m bid in the summer fail.
