Arsenal star Hector Bellerin asks Twitter for help finding fan who made him a banner

The Spain international, who was part of the Gunners 3-2 win away at Crystal Palace on Thursday,  has struggled with form this season

HECTOR BELLERIN has asked Twitter for help finding a fan who made a banner bearing his name.

The Spain international, 22, took to social media on Friday to make a plea to his 1.1 million followers.

In the post, a young girl wearing a santa hat is seen smiling broadly while holding up a banner, which reads: "Bellerin. I love you xx."

Bellerin's heartwarming tweet, which has so far been retweeted over 1,900 times, was captioned: "Came across this picture of last nights game, could everyone RT and help me find this young fan please?"

The initial picture of the young fan was taken during Arsenal's 3-2 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

One user, who has identified himself as a friend of the super-fans family, has responded to Bellerin's appeal.

Liam Openshaw tweeted the Spaniard saying: "The girl you are looking for is Claudia, on the left. Was at the game with her brother Austin and parents."

The young supporter has no doubt have given Bellerin something to smile about, however his season has been anything but plain sailing.

Last season Bellerin was one of Europe’s hottest properties with Barcelona and Manchester City interested in big money moves.

But Bellerin has struggled this season.

Arsene Wenger will hope that the right back can snap back into his old ways ahead of their trip to West Brom on Sunday.
