Manchester United star Paul Pogba is ‘just strolling through games’, claims Paul Scholes
Scholes was on pundit duty as United drew third Premier League game in row against Southampton at Old Trafford to drop to third behind Chelsea
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has accused Paul Pogba of “just strolling through games”.
Pogba was excellent as United flew out of the blocks at the start of the season winning six and drawing two of their first eight Premier League games.
United started to struggle when the Frenchman was out for 12 games with a hamstring injury.
The 24-year-old missed another three games after being sent off at Arsenal in early December and the former United man insists Pogba is struggling to get back to his best.
Scholes said on BT Sport: “Where is the Paul Pogba we saw at Juventus? “
“He was all over the pitch, he was battling, he was tackling, he was sprinting to people, he was scoring goals from 25 yards out.

Scholes watched on as Pogba came through the academy at Carrington under Sir Alex Ferguson and doesn’t think Jose Mourinho is getting the best out of him.

Scholes added: “Pogba doesn't look fit, I wonder whether he is training properly.
“He does not look like a player who will win you games and that is what you pay £90m for.
“No one in England should be getting near him, but he is being asked to do a role he is not comfortable in.
“You have to say the manager has to take responsibility for that.
“Is the manager sending them out not playing the way they want to play? I don't know.”

Struggling Saints held Mourinho’s men to a third straight league draw and have dropped to third behind Chelsea who thumped Stoke at Stamford Bridge.
