MANCHESTER UNITED'S Ashley Young faces a three-game ban after being charged by the FA over his alleged elbow on Southampton winger Dusan Tadic.
Young, 32, clashed with the Saints attacker as United were defending a corner during the second half of the 0-0 draw at Old Trafford.
Swansea City’s Kyle Naughton is also in the dock, It follows an incident during yesterday's game against Watford which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video.
The Swans defender has been charged with violent conduct for an alleged stamp on Hornets striker Stefano Okaka.
Both players have until 5pm today to respond.
Mourinho has heavily relied on Young's experience this season and if he is found guilty will be hit with a three-game ban.
Young will miss the trip to Everton and two home games against Derby in the FA Cup and league game against Stoke.
If Naughton is found guilty he will also serve a three-game ban and miss the Premier League game at home to Tottenham on Tuesday, FA Cup third round clash at Wolves and the trip to Newcastle on January 13.
