Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sets Premier League record with his 811th game in charge
ARSENE WENGER goes into the New Year with a new record after managing his 811th Premier League game with Arsenal.
The Frencham equalled Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson's record with the 3-2 win against Crystal Palace on Thursday.
But by sitting in the dugout at the Hawthorns for the Gunners clash with West Brom, Wenger has now set a new benchmark.
Wenger joined Arsenal in 1996 and has won three Premier League titles and a record seven FA Cups in his time with the club.
In 810 matches in charge, Wenger has won 468 wins, 197 draws and 145 losses.
But Wenger will have a while to go to match Ferguson's record for top flight matches managed in England.
