Manchester United ace Matteo Darmian subject of multiple bids from Italian sides, reveals his agent
But Tullio Tinti insisted that Roma are NOT one of the clubs in for the Italian versatile defender
MANCHESTER UNITED defender Matteo Darmian is a wanted man, with several Italian clubs interested in signing him.
But according to his agent Tullio Tinti, the Italian is "not for sale".
Darmian, 28, signed for the Red Devils in July 2015 from Torino for just under £13million.
He made 28 Premier League appearances in his maiden season but managed just 18 the year after.
Darmian is now well and truly out of the first-team picture under Jose Mourinho, appearing just four times in the current league campaign.
Roma were believed to be the frontrunners to snap up the versatile player, but according to Tinti, they are not in the frame.
Speaking to Rete Sport, his agent said: "I have never received calls from Roma for the player, there are contacts with other Serie A teams, but not with the Giallorossi.
"For the moment, the boy is not for sale."
BRING 'EM IN Man United line up these massive transfer deals
United are apparently more than happy to offload Darmian in order to free up room in their squad for a new left-back.
SunSport reported how Mourinho is said to be keen on a deal for Tottenham ace Danny Rose.
