The Egyptian has been in  sensational form, scoring 18 league goals in 22 games.

The Kop giants have shrugged off talk  surrounding the 25-year-old’s future but Abo Rida suggest they will face a huge battle to keep hold of the forward.

Reports in Egypt claim Abo Rida said on TV: “Real Madrid will make an offer for Salah during the summer.

“Salah is now looking to improve his game. Obviously if an Egyptian plays for a club as popular around the world as Real Madrid, it’s going to be great for Egyptian football.”

Pharaohs manager Hector Cuper also commented about the speculated move.

He added: “I’ve received news revealing Real’s interest  but let’s not rush things.”

Salah has been part of an exciting team that has clicked this season for Jurgen Klopp.

The German, 50, may be in his best spell as Liverpool manager but he still craves consistency from his team.

The Reds are unbeaten in 18 matches in all competitions and victory at Swansea tonight would see him record a sixth successive win for the first time since he arrived on  Merseyside in October 2015.

If they manage to avoid defeat it would also be the club’s longest unbeaten run for more than 21 years, when they went 20 games undefeated.

But Klopp  said: “You can look back on a season after the season, not during. It’s not important. We feel in a good moment.

“I see the boys training every day and it looks good, that’s the truth. That’s why we can play like we played so far. But we have to do it again.

“As a Liverpool player you cannot perform one week and then two weeks not — we need to deliver consistently, every day and each game.”
