17/18 Premier League Preview | Matchweek 3 | Arsenal (H)

The Reds should head into this clash with Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday – 4pm kick off UK time – on a high following our progress to the Champions League group stages after the emphatic 4-2 victory over Hoffenheim on Wednesday evening.

Three wins from the four competitive matches played across the Premier League and Champions League should not be downplayed considering the results were achieved without two of our most creative midfielders from last season in the shape of Coutinho and Lallana.

Can Liverpool continue the form we showed last season against the other members of the so called “big six”, going unbeaten home and away against Chelsea, Tottenham, Man City, Arsenal and Man Utd in the league? Five wins and five draws saw the Reds top the head-to-head table against the teams most likely to compete for the title and Champions League places and this season should be no different.
